1. Steve Humm: In your first video shot you dressed as a school girl. Any plans to do a
song about a nurse?
Britney: No Steve, not unless George Clooney would be my love interest.
2. Ricky Whiting: I drew this picture of you. Do you like it?
Britney: Ricky, it is fantastic!!! You're a very talented person. I shall
print it off and keep it. Thank you.
3. Ian Dallibar aged 14: Who would you most like to do a duet with?
Britney: Ian, I would like to do a duet with Christina Aguilera as she
has a great voice and it would prove to everyone that we really ARE friends.
4. Steve Power: What is your favourite movie, why and where did you see it?
Britney: American Pie was my favourite film. I saw it last year with a
group of my friends back home in Louisiana.
5. Margaret Wood: Have you ever said 'I love you' and not meant it?
Britney: I don't feel that I know what love is as I have never actually
been in love'. I would never say those special words without meaning it.
6. Alex Ward, aged 16: At school were you like the most popular girl there?
Britney: Hi Alex, I was just a regular kid. I wasn't a cheer leader or
anything and they were always the most popular girls. I just hung out with a group of
friends and we had great fun.
7. Sarah Breslin: What has been your favourite birthday present ever?
Britney: I love receiving presents but I prefer to give them. I love
buying gifts for my family and really enjoy watching their reactions when they open them.
8. Tony Williams: What is your biggest vice?
Britney: Biting my finger nails. I have made it my New Year's resolution
to stop it!
9. Matt Day: I just wanted to know what your hopes and aspirations are for the New Year.
Britney: I'm currently working on my second album which will be released
this year and I'm starting a huge arena tour in America in March. I hope that my second
album is as successful as my first and that all my fans like my new material.
10. Andy Reilly: I have my own up-and-coming decorating firm at the tender age of 21.
Would you like to go out for a prawn cocktail, steak'n'chips in the town of Windsor and
then a bit of dancing in a club?
Britney: Andy, as tempting as that sounds I am actually very busy at the
moment recording my second album so it doesn't look like that will be possible. Thanks
anyway.
11. Chani Phillips, aged eight: How did you feel when you heard
about your first UK number one hit?
Britney: I was so excited. I hadn't imagined that my first single would
be so huge. I mean, I knew it was a great song but I thought I would have to build my
profile before having chart success.
12. David Gittings: Has your amazing fame sunk in yet or does it
still surprise you?
Britney: I don't feel any different now than I did when I wasn't famous
so sometimes when I get people coming up to me when I'm at the airport or shopping it kind
of freaks me out!
13. Natalie aged 10: Do you have any brothers or sisters and what
are their names?
Britney: Hi Natalie, I have a younger sister called Jamie Lynne. She is nine and
I have an older brother Bryan who is 23.
14. David Jones: Who were your favourite pop artists when you were a child?
Britney: I have always enjoyed Whitney Houston's music and of course all
the regulars like New Kids On The Block
15. Ashlea Floyd: I have heard you are touring the UK in April. Could you please let me
know when the tickets will go on sale.
Britney: There is actually no dates confirmed yet for the UK but
hopefully I will bring my tour to Europe sometime very soon.
16. Anthony: Which do you prefer; Simpsons , South Park or Pokemon?
Britney: The Simpsons of course. About a year ago I recorded an episode
of the Simpsons where I played myself. It was aired in the US on Monday January 10th.
17. Ian Conn: Has anyone ever given you advice which has had an impact or an effect on the
way you live your life and what was it? Also, where did the name Britney come from?
Britney: My mom has always told me to be true to
myself and my feelings and to believe in myself. The name Britney came from my parents
you'll have to ask my mom that one.
18. James Cassidy: What is your most memorable experience during
your childhood?
Britney: I had a great childhood my family is very loving and supportive.
I just remember lots of family get together for Thanks Giving and Christmas.
19. Richard Park: Why do you have that boy in all of your videos,
you know the one with the 'bouncy hair'? Do you really like him or does he pay you. He
looks a bit of a softy to me... Keep up the good work.
Britney: My record company and the director of the videos have contacts
at different agencies. These agencies send over several different actors and I get to help
chose the one that looks the most appropriate. I don't always use the same person though.
The record company pays the actor he doesn't pay us. It's just his job.

Britney: Hello to you all, I am currently in the US recording material
for my second album and then I am embarking on an arena tour here to. I won't be coming
over to the UK.
21. DJ Ketts: Do you prefer the dance remixes or the pop remixes of your songs like Baby
One More Time?
Britney: I like them both. I think it depends on what sort of mood I'm
in. I enjoy up beat songs when I'm getting ready to go out or go on stage, but when I'm
chilling I listen to slow ballads.
22. Joanna: You have an incredible wardrobe. Are your clothes picked you by someone else
or do you just have incredible fashion sense and pick them out yourself?
Britney: I have a stylist who helps me to buy clothes, which is great because she
advises me and I don't make any huge fashion mistakes. Well I don't think I do anyway.
23. Stephen Galea, aged 18: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Britney: I don't know - I have never experienced love at first sight so I can't
really say whether I believe in it. I do believe in instant attraction and that certain
couples have a certain chemistry between them.
24. Simon: We Brits are really into our tea. Do you like it, or if not, what's your fave
beverage?
Britney: I like lemon tea but I am a coffee girl. I love StarBucks Cafe Latte
25. Fiona Jayne Inniss: What three words best describe you?
Britney: Fun - Energetic - Kind
26. Oliver Blackman: I think this is a joke and that a fake Britney will answer, however I
have faith in the News of the World. So, to prove yourself tell me something about your
best friend that you like.
Britney: Why are you so sceptical Oliver - My best friend is my cousin
Laura Lynn she is really cool we have been best friends since I can remember.
27. Roy Mitchell:Do you actually fancy Prince William or is that just a rumour?
Britney: Hi Roy. I think Prince William is very cute but I have never met
him so I wouldn't say I actually fancied him.
28. Loredana: Do you come to England often and do you like us here?
Britney: Hi Loredana, what a great name. I don't really come to the UK
that often because my schedule in the US is jam-packed. When I do come over though I have
the best time - you Brits are really friendly and make me feel at home.
29. Matty Moor, aged 16: I just want to know if you are seeing anyone at the moment? If so
who is this lucky guy?
Britney: Matty, I am young free and single. I am really busy so I don't
have time for a relationship with anyone. I do intend to start looking for Mr Right soon
though.
30. John Eves, aged 17: Britney, would you ever consider moving to England to live when
you're older.
Britney: John, My home and family are in the US so I don't think I could
ever move to a whole new country. I would miss my mom's cooking.
31. Michelle Sadler: Was it exciting filming Baby One More Time at the same school as
Grease was filmed?
Britney: Hi Michelle, it was really cool. Grease is one of my favourite
films so it was weird singing and dancing in the same corridors.
32. Lauren Scally: What make of make-up do you use and what piece of make-up do you always
have to have with you?
Britney: Lauren, I tend to use lots of different
brands of make-up but my favourite item is my Nars Lip Gloss. I don't go anywhere without
it.
33. Sonny Boy Payne: What have been your best and worst eperiences
of fame?
Britney: Sonny, the best bit of being famous is travelling, seeing lots
of wonderful cities and meeting really nice people. The worst bit is having to spend hours
and hours on planes. The good bits far outweigh the bad though.
34. Naaz Verman: How long does it take to learn those dance moves because they are wicked!
What is your best move so far? Mine's the ones from the MTV awards.
Britney: Naaz, I have to practise every day but I love dancing so that doesn't
bother me. My favourite move is the back flip I did at the MTV awards, although that
particular one was not that great.
35. Mpollin2: You probably have one of the most gruelling work schedules imaginable. What
do you do to relax, do you have any favourite pastimes?
Britney: Sleep sleep and more sleep. My schedule is manic and I get
really tired so when I relax I tend to sleep. I love excercising, playing basketball and
reading.
36. GTrench: Who were you most influenced by and how?
Britney: My Mom, she is a great person and she has taught me to be
patient, positive and always believe. Musically - Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Madonna.
37. Simon Austin: What's it like being the hottest lass on the planet?
Britney: Simon, it's hard work, but very enjoyable.
38. Andy Parrish: Just wondered where you see yourself in 10 years?
Britney: Andy, I hope to still be making great music and to have found my
soul mate and be very in love.
39. Arata Yamamoto: Would you like to be a Bond girl?
Britney: Ah, a Bond girl now there's a thought! If a window ever appeared
in my schedule and the Bond people wanted me to play one I would jump at the chance.
40. Andrew Fletcher: Do you have close friends? It must be hard as a celeb to trust
someone.
Britney: Andrew, it is really hard but you get to know the people you can
trust and the people you can't. I have lots of friend who where my buddies before I became
famous so I know they are true mates.
41. Gary Ecclestone: Have you found it hard to keep your feet on the ground seeing as you
are now the most popular female in the world?
Britney: Every time I go home my mom makes me vacuum, tidy my room and do
the dishes. That keeps my feet on the ground.
42. Lorraine Ryall: What did you think of Steps? Do you fancy Lee or H?
Britney: Lorraine, I think Steps are fantastic and Lee and H are both
pretty cute but before the rumours start I HAVEN'T DATED EITHER OF THEM.
43. Lynne Cunningham: My question is what age where you when you realised that you wanted
to become a singer?
Britney: I have always loved to sing. My mom says that I was singing as soon as I
could talk. I love performingand I think I have always known this is what I wanted to do.
44. Rob Freeman: Your new single is released on my Birthday. What did you do on your last
birthday?
Britney: I had the day off and then had a huge party in New York which
was just amazing. Happy Birthday xxx
45. Jon Wong: You are so beautiful, did you ever think about being a model instead of a
singer?
Britney: I am only 5ft 2in so being a model was never really an option. I
love to perform live in front of audiences and I get to do photoshoots too so this way I
get the best of both worlds.
46. Jamie Bush: What was your favourite song of 1999?
Britney: Jamie, my favourite song from last year was I Want It That Way
by the Backstreet Boys.
47. Craig Carey: Any idea when you will be doing a tour of the UK?
Britney: Hi Craig, I am hoping to bring my tour to Europe at some point
this year but no dates have been confirmed.
48. Peter O'Hara: How do you all your friends feel that their friend Britney is this pop
idol. Do they treat you differently or is it just like old times?
Britney: Peter, I go home when I can and hang out with all my buddies.
They are all really happy for me and treat me as they always have done. Although I travel
all the time I do make a point of going home - it keeps me normal my mom makes me vacuum
and do the dishes.
49. Jodie Dunnage: I live in the Isle of Man and am 12-years-old today. On New Year's Eve
I performed Baby One More Time on stage and it was the best night ever for me. How can I
be famous one day too!
Britney: Happy Birthday Jodie - I love performing 'Baby One More Time'
too. Keep practising and try to enter talent contest. I had singing and dancing lesson
which was great fun and has really helped my career. Good Luck
50. Wayne Maidens: Is it true that you are appearing in Dawson Creek and if so do you know
when the shows are going to be shown in the UK?
Britney: Hi Wayne, it is true I will be appearing in Dawsons Creek but I
don't know when those episodes will be screened in the UK I'm afraid.
51. Dean Still: If you could go on holiday with your family to anywhere in the world where
would you go and why?
Britney: Hi Dean, I would go somewhere hot it wouldn't really matter
where as long as I'm with my family I would be happy.
